About this festival
Three-night dance festival at the foothills of the Dhauli Shanti Stupa — the very site of the Kalinga War. Programme alternates classical Odissi, Manipuri, Chhau and martial-arts forms (Thang-Ta, Kalaripayattu, Paika Akhada). A statement of "peace over war".
Traveller tip
8 km south of city centre — leave by 17:00. The hilltop pagoda backdrop after dark is the photo to take. The 2026 edition marks Orissa Dance Academy's Golden Jubilee.
